Is it just me or is this song mad boring? Not worth all the hype in my opinion but maybe it will grow on me.

man... it doesn't bang like i thought it would based on the clip
ReplyDeletebut... it's new and it's TIMBALAND as he should be. more comments coming later, of course
loving this shit first listen.
ReplyDeleteso simple and weird.
It def comes off boring just sitting here listening to it. Maybe it'd be better in the club.
ReplyDeletecompared to the rest of the SHIT MMG has been releasing lately this track is fire. The beat is sick & the most original beat Timbaland has released in months w.o Danja or justin puttin there 2 peices of shit in.
ReplyDeletethis sounds VERY unfinished... but its good, it grows.
ReplyDeleteDEFINITELY grows.
ReplyDeleteMe likes...
ReplyDeleteit does sound unfinished, especially the 2nd verse.
ReplyDeletei still like the track but in the video the track seemed faster to me, when the track gets finished it going to be a smash
ReplyDeleteI like it right off the bat if he adds more even better.
ReplyDeleteabove person go to www.rnbxclusive.com and 5/9/08 tracks and they are both there
ReplyDeletehey thx 4 tht but i think somethings wrong wit tht site cuz i pressed tht and nothing was there...
ReplyDeleteso if some1 can rip id greatly appreciate...
and if anybodys wondering, dont worry i never pirate tims music.
i just want the rip so i can have it on my ipod until da cd comes out....
"compared to the rest of the SHIT MMG has been releasing lately this track is fire." (2)
ReplyDelete4 get it....
ReplyDeletei found em on google...
:D
a lil fine tuning on the beat here and there, cause after a while its kinda repetetive...but Tim flows like back in the days. Replace T-Pain and with whoever and this one will be CRACK! now its just HOT...fo real, I dig this cause it has BOUNCE. best shit from Tim in a loooong time...
ReplyDeleteT-Pain and his vocoder-ing antics are the best part about the song...The drums are damn good too. It is pretty boring though. Maybe add a few floaty synths in the back (not overload it) or maybe some quirky sounds...I dunno, just something to make it pop more. It's better than a lot of other songs out now, though.
ReplyDeleteThe track doesnt sound as hard as it did in the club. The beat is too soft. Timbo can still save his track, whether it happens still remains to be seen.
ReplyDeleteif you play this on a great sound system instead of your computer speakers you will get the full experience for this song...the only downside is the 2nd verse isnt complete...but it bangs hard
ReplyDeleteReply 2 Jordan.
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS NOT A POP RECORD SO HE DOESNT NEED 2 ADD ANY OF THOSE ANNOYING SYNTHS OR POP SOUNDS IN THERE.
THIS IS THE TIM I KNOW & BECAME A FAN WITH.
:), i like !!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteunfinished version of course
ReplyDeleteIts should just be t-pain on this, Timbaland sounds like he's trying to hard on his old style. I don't understand what he's saying
ReplyDeleteWhen I said "make it pop more" I meant more attention grabbing; wasn't suggesting a genre change for the song...
ReplyDeleteI love this. I am very pleased with the fact that Tim is starting to show his artistic rapping style.
ReplyDeleteT-Pain sets this off. Like... when has he not?
I hope the final version has a little something else though. Something else can be put in here.
Reply 2 Venture.
ReplyDeleteUr obviously a new fan. Tims been rapping like tht since WELCOME 2 OUR WORLD.
New fan?
ReplyDeleteMy comment went way over your head, huh?
myfan4life, who let you out early? You are supposed to be going over those cheer routines.
ReplyDeletetension tension lmao no biting!
ReplyDeleteI dont think tim rapped like this before im sorry but Welcome 2 Our World was not a genius rap track from timbo its just not that great the beats were original though what do u mean by new fan? ventures been here longer than u...
love it mayne...can't wait to here the final version ya dig.

ReplyDeletejust so u know, D.O.E. wrote Tim's part
ReplyDeleteLOL @ HAVE A COW.
ReplyDeleteJUst because homeboys been on a website "longer than me" doesnt mean hes been a Tim fan longer then me. Ive been a fan sice Tim & Missy were on Jodeci's Diary of a Mad band Album doing skits & background production.
& Timbaland was rapping like tht on Peepin My Style but instead of trying to hit hard he rapped more playfully, if u will.
yea something is missing on this track... he should throw another wierd ass sound into this beat. that would COMPLETE it!
ReplyDelete:)
soundswitchtrizz just got on to Timbaland when he was making his way down town walking fast, and a face passed and they where playing Timbaland's "The Way I Are" in their iPod.
ReplyDeleteWOW... IS THT SUPPOSED 2 B A COMEBACK.
ReplyDeletehahahahaha i didnt get it either lmaoooaa
ReplyDeletePeople be slipping on the subliminal.
ReplyDeletemore like "Venture be sippin on that sizzerp."
ReplyDeleteLOL.
ReplyDeleteVanessa Carlton guys.
A Thousand Miles...
Damn...
lol what venture said... isnt that from "A Thousand Miles"???
ReplyDeleteby vanessa carlton? lmao!
lmfao!!
ReplyDeleteVenture, that brought the lolz....
ReplyDeleteTimbaland's directing another medley performance for the upcoming Fashion Rocks show. OneRepublic will perform "Apologize", CHRIS CORNELL WILL PERFORM "SCREAM", then the Pussycat Dolls finish off with "When I Grow Up". Check out the article here:

Sounds like classic Timbaland with current sounds. Yeah sounds unfinished, more to like a demo.
ReplyDeletesolid effort 4 flava of the min... where's the kik???!! maybe its my laptop but Missy would take it up a few notches if she was on her real grind... she needs 2 redeem herself from "best"...lol my only question is why does Timbo pick the worst elect guit patches? i miss those sick ass slightly outta tune arpeggio riffs that Bill mighta played and he'd mess it up nice...
