Despite reports by MTV that 50 Cent would release the first single from his upcoming album Black Magic, a previously unreleased track entitled "Keep It Movin" (or "Keep it Comin") surfaced. The song is thought to be produced by Timbaland during the making of 50's 2007 album Curtis. Peep the track:

50 Cent Talks Timbaland's New Collabos
Take a listen to the interview with 50 Cent where's he asked about Timbaland's possible "loss of credibility" via Shock Value II and working with the likes of Kate Perry and Miley Cyrus:
50 Cent could not have said it any better: "I don't think his [Timbaland's] original fanbase is interested in what that song would sound like." As one of those original Timbo fans, I couldn't agree more. Branching out is one thing, but created formulated music just for the money is something totally different. Bring back the "old" Timbo!

50 Cent "You Should Be Dead"
As we watched Timbaland’s MTV Diary many years back, we all wondered “wait, I’ve never heard that beat before, who’s it for?” One of those beats (heard at the beginning of the now famous scene of Busta & Tim in the studio) turned out to be 50 Cent’s “You Should Be Dead” which was supposed to be on Fiddy’s Curtis but never made the cut. Even before Diary though we had that track parked on our Unreleased Confirmed list for long time (thanks Nick!).
Eventually we got a snippet, then an even longer snippet, and now finally we have the full version. Check out 50’s “You Should Be Dead” produced by Timbo and Danja:
You think it should have been on the album?
Bonus question: What’s the “rock-a-bye baby” sample?

Word is G Unit is nearly complete with their next album and Timbaland and Swizz Beats have already contributed to the project.

Word is: Justin, 50, and Timbaland Part II
Word is back on September 11th on TRL, 50 Cent announced that Justin Timberlake will be re-releasing his hit album Future Sex/ Love Sounds which will include among other things, a new track featuring 50 Cent, and Timbaland. No word on when the new album will be dropping but as long as it has new Timbaland tracks, I'll be picking it up. "AYO Technology" is a hot track and there's definitely chemistry between the 3 so lets hope it will be the same on this new track.

Kanye, 50, & Timbaland
Timbaland recently weighed in on what he though about the 50 7 Kanye "rivalry":
"It's a great promotional tool," Timbaland said about West's and 50's albums coming out on the same day. "To me, it's the greatest thing ever. I think people should do it more often. I'm a fan of both albums. Hip-hop needs this right now. "It's gonna kinda come [out] evenly," he added about his prediction of the sales. "I say 500,000 to 500,000. That's a million records total in hip-hop. That's too much for the consumer."
Timbo says that the rap overload will likely cause a third-party candidate to reap the spoils. Country superstar Kenny Chesney also dropped a new album, Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates, on Tuesday.
"[Chesney] sells like 600, 700 [thousand]," Timbaland said. "He's gonna be #1, though. Why wouldn't he? It's happened before when a country artist came out and a hip-hop artist came out. ... It's nothing different. It's gonna be tight. Maybe [8,000 more] for 50 or [8,000 more] for Kanye. But Kenny is gonna do 600,000. He's a country artist. Country never fails. Just like 'High School Musical.' "

Looks like Tim forgot B5's album ha!
50 also had a few words about Timbaland via MTV's Mixtape Monday:
****Last week we told you how Kanye West brought both DJ Toomp and Timbaland in to help him with some of the soundscapes for Graduation. Well, 50 Cent is equally impressed with Timbo the King.
"He did stuff I never seen a producer do," 50 said recently in Las Vegas about working with Timbaland. (Tim, as the whole world knows now, produced 50's "Ayo Technology.") "I seen him take pins in a can and shake it and make it sound like something else. Then he puts the drums in the machine. It just got crazy in there."
50 said his work with Timbo inspired Kanye before West even heard their song.
"He said, 'Yo, [when] they told me you made that record with Timbaland, I made three new records,' " 50 said, smiling. "Then when I heard [the song], I was like, 'Ah man, [Kanye] got a record with [Timbaland].' "
"He's smart," 50 added. "He ain't stupid. That's what I would do."****
Tim says Kenny Chesney, what do you all say?

Timbaland the Maestro Part IV
Best VMAs ever? HARDLY, especially on the technical side. Between the distorted and often times missing audio, blurry camera images, whacky lighting, and continual jumping around from performance to performance there wasn't a cohesiveness to this years VMAs. By the time you got hyped about seeing Kanye or 50 there set was cut off to see Maroon 5 and Mark Ronson then it switched over to Lincoln Park etc etc. Musically I loved what Tim and most of the performers did but I just feel that MTV didn't give them the proper foundation technically to showcase their music the best way possible. In the end though hey it's the VMAs!!

~Interview Week~ (Day 3)
It’s a busy week here on The Chronicles, lots of great music and samples and in the midst of it all you’ve got some great Tim interviews. Continuing one with Interview Week, I bring you 2 Timbo interviews from Tim Westwood’s Radio 1 program. This first one is a rare gem from WAY back in the day. It’s actually a combination of 3 interviews into one. Though it’s a really long interview, it’s well worth the listen. Here are a few highlights:
- 50 Cent in the studio talking about wanting to work with Tim and freestyling on all sorts of Timstrumentals.
- “It’s very rare that I might sample”
- Blu Cantrell stops by and talks about her history with Tim, Devante, and Ginuwine
- “At one point in time I was getting like $400,000 [a beat]”
- ‘My greatest beat is “Can We” by SWV....that and “One In A Million"....when I think about it, it might just be “Pony”’
Timbaland on Tim Westwood #1
Fast forward a couple of years and Timbo stops by Radio 1 again and does another interview that's a lot shorter. He talks about Justin, Nelly, and the future for MMG.
Timbaland on Radio 1
Are all the stans taking notes? Here’s mine:
- The “Cry Me A River” Remix F/ 50 is NOT official
- 50 mentions an “O B” single Tim did with 50 on it that never made the airwaves. Could it be “Bad Bitch” or some other track 50 refers to as the “Hustla’” joint”?
- Tim made 70 beats for Missy’s “This is Not A Test”
- An instrumental of “Is That Yo Chick” plays which as far as I know is an extremely rare Timstrumental to find. (Rod what do you say?)
- Tim briefly says to check out the track D.O.E did with Missy. Hmmm
- Lil’ Kim denies a different Tim beat for her La Bella Mafia album.
Big props to my man 3000 for the link for the 1st interview.

50 Cent's "AYO Technology"/"She Wants It"
Seems there may be a little subliminal meaning to the former 50 Cent titled track "AYO Technology" now titled "She Wants It" Check out this article and see for yourself:
****Singer Justin Timberlake's new track 'She Wants It' in 50 Cent's third album is reportedly a porn number. Timberlake is going to appear in the video of fourth single of 'Curtis' with musical composer, R and B record producer and rapper Timbaland.
According to a source, the singer who penned the song with the rapper while on tour has actually disguised the word 'technology' for 'pornography' in the song. "The track is an analogy for watching porn. The word 'technology' was put in as a way to replace what they really wanted to say - 'pornography'," the Sun quoted the source, as saying.
The source insisted that the track which was earlier named 'Ayo Technology' is the singers' desperation to see 'stunning girls' giving dirty shots live. "It's all about being fed up with having to make do watching dirty movies and how desperate they are for stunning girls to be in front of them doing what they do in the movies," the source added.
Notable music video, advertising, and feature film director Joseph Khan will reportedly be shooting the video this weekend. Fiddy, Timberlake and Timbaland are said to play secret agents loaded with see-through clothes gadgets who will bother beautiful models. "The treatment for the promo has three spy characters stalking beautiful models," the source said. "They will be racked up with hi-tech gadgets and night-vision goggles which enables them to see through the girls' clothes," the source added. The source also revealed that although it will be a chasing sequence, the singers will 'push the boundaries' in a 'bit creepy and sinister' video. "It's a cat-and-mouse situation with car chases and gadgets galore but spying on the girls is the main theme. It will be a bit creepy and sinister," the source said. "They are going to push the boundaries with what they can get on film," the source added*****

I have to admit after yesterday's findings about reliable sources, this article really makes me wonder if the real meaning of the track is true. Add to that the orignial source is The Sun, a very popular tabloid magazine from England. I hope the information about the video is at least true. I like Joseph Kahn videos and would be really interesting in seeing what he would bring with 50, Justin, and Tim.
I also have a little bonus for ya'll. Here is the FULL version of "She Want It"
50 Cent "She Wants It" Thoughts on the track?
Props to StarSheg for the article and Bigmac for the track!

50 Cent's New Single
In the midst of 50 Cent's explanation of shall we say his interesting performance on the BET Awards show, MTV announced that 50's new single will be indeed "AYO Technology" f/ Justin Timberlake. With a small twist:
****An official video for "Follow My Lead," featuring Robin Thicke, was also filmed several weeks ago, but has since been shelved. Reps for Interscope explained that 50's next official single will be a record formerly called "Ayo Technology" that features Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. The record is now called "She Want It" and a video will be in production shortly.****

I have to admit something about saying "Yo did you check out that new joint by 50 "AYO Technology?" that doesn't really roll off the tongue quite as well as "She Want It." I'm still very interested to hear the HQ quality (and full) version of this track. I'm hoping for some sort of beatswitch at the end.

50 Cent Curtis Snippets
There had been requests to hear the Timbo produced "AYO Technology" f/ Justin Timberlake so here it is plus 4 other very short snippets from 50:
50 Cent feat. Mary J. Blige : All Of Me
50 Cent feat. Justin Timberlake : Ayo Technology
50 Cent feat. Akon : I'll Still Kill
50 Cent feat. Robin Thicke : Follow My Lead
50 Cent : Peep Show
50 Cent Snippets
Obviously made around the same time as "Do It" I'm interested in hearing the full version of the track. It's been said it will not be on the Curtis album but with it being postponed there is still 100% certainty that it will not be. Let's hope it makes it.

50 Cent breaks down "AYO Technology"
MTV sat down with 50 Cent and talk to him about his new album which has been postponed. There are 4 parts to the interview and in this one 50 breaks down the meaning of the Timbaland produced "AYO Technology." There has been talk if this track will make the album and it's still unsure exactly but I have a feeling the track will show up on one of the many 50 projects coming out over the next year.

Timberlake confirms 50/Timbo track
From an MTV article
****TV: And on the flipside, you're also doing something with 50 Cent?
Timberlake: Yes, I did a song with 50 as well, Timbaland and I. We call it "AYO Technology," and it's really cool because it's a bounce record, it's kind of got the same tempo as "My Love," so to hear 50 rapping on a track like that is really different for him. I'm a fan, man. I'm just working with people I'm a fan of.
MTV: Did 50 bring out the hardest Justin yet?
Timberlake: We met somewhere in the middle. [He laughs.] It was somewhere like a bulletproof designer necktie.****
There you have it, the question is will the track be on this album, 50's next project slated to be released before 2008, or just be an unreleased track. ****Edit I wonder if "AYO Technology was renamed to "Mechanic" for the album? That would make sense as to why we don't see it listed. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
