-Attitude "Do Whut You Do" (Full) -Torrey Carter "Ok" (Non-DJ) -We At It Again (Full of the Alternate Beat Version) -Dido "White Flag" (Remix) -Timbaland F/ ?? "Go Getta"
Like all of Timbaland's other videos....pretty bare bones. I remember seeing a fan made video of the original song that was 10 times better. Bands usually become more popular through very creative videos and this is definitely not out of the box.
very bland. possibly one of the best 10 songs released this year with a very dull video. probably wont hold it back from any success bc the song is a hit but it's def not helping it.
The video shows how timbo puts rock and hiphop together..so thats good..that's the message cause it's a video for shock value, not really for one republic...but I think it's cool, easy to watch. You'll need a genius to create a video for a song that's ingenius...someone who understands music.
yeh....but i mean..yall should've expected it....cuz someone posted an article and tim said that all he wanted in the video was him in studio....hey at least they used a higher quality camera than in the GITM video
but i actually like it......how the hell do they get the video in slow motion yet still in sync with the audio...
Hehe, first thing I recognized and liked were the EVENT Speakers. I would love to hear them. I first thought about copping those, but they were way beond my budget! ...ProTools in the back also nice *g*.
Those soft and slow movements must have required them to shot the video A LOT(!!!) faster than the actual speed of the Song^^ I'd like to see the making-of :-)
Hm, dont know what would have fitted the song-mood better - Them just doing them in the Studio or if they would have come up with an extra Storyline for the Video.
btw Event ASP8 from what I can see. Dont know why Tim is using the KRKs so much I've heard dozens of bad reviews and opinions on them. It seems they are quite popular in the US while they're beeing refused more in the EU countries. (with exceptions here and there of course).
This was better than the video for "Give It To Me" by far!! "The Way I Are" was definitely the best video off of "Shock Value" but what was with the soccer players??? Anyways, I agree with the statement that it is more important to show the band than having the most innovative, out-of-the-box video. Besides, it's better than all the other "studio" videos I've seen so far. And there are a lot of them.
The scenes are great. But not enough! This song is so powerful.. They should have made a story line on the side.. With a girl and Ryan or something.. More emotion
i think the music video is suppose to accompany both the original version and timbaland's version. they could just cut timbaland's part for one republic's version.
I agree, they should have had a story line about an ending romance between the singer and a pretty woman :) , how she cheated on him with his best friend (or with Timbo hahaha), something like that, but this vid is dull....
It should definitely have a story line. And it's funny how they're acting like there are real drums and cello in the song. Dude at the piano reminded me of Robin Thicke at first glance.
funny how theyre posin like a band when the drums and most of the sounds are electrical. HAHAHA and why is this song being considered new? its a remake isnt it? i thought they werent new all along.
The video could've been better. A heck of alot better. I still think the original version of this song shits all over the "remix" on Shock value. OneRepublic should've shot a video for both versions of the song and put 'em out.

ReplyDeleteLol at timbo's hands up in the air.
ReplyDeleteThat drummer aint doing those beats. lol
Boring video but song is strong enough that people will let it slide, like the last two Shock Value videos.
Thanks.

ReplyDeletefor a first video it's important they show their faces a lot..
ReplyDeletethe idea is not that bad.

ReplyDeletei like the video on youtube better. the one with the plant and the lyrics and all that. THAT video is AMAZING.

Great beats + Horrible videos =Timbaland.
ReplyDeleteTimbo needs to step his video game up and quit being so cheap.
Bring back that Missy/Hype Williams creativity with the videos Timmy.

ReplyDeleteSo sad..So lonely..I like the Song..Anyone noticed Tim's Big Ass Head? I wonder whats stored in that junk

ReplyDeleteMeh, just a pretentious video in my eyes.
