The song has hit airwaves and hit the internet yesterday. Just as I was about to post the track there was a twist in the possible production, with the possibility of Alicia Keys and longtime partner Kerry "Krucial" Brothers producing the track. Yes true we reported here that Timbaland had indeed done the production and everywhere you look it says the same thing but there still is uncertainty as to if Tim really produced the song. So I'll open the debate up to all of you. Take a listen to the snippet and tell us what you think:
Alicia Keys "Like You'll Never See Me Again"
I say it's not Timbo.
Update The Chronicles (along with pratically every other music news outlet out there) was incorrect in reporting that Alicia Key's 2nd single "Like You'll Never See Me Again" is produced by Timbaland. We do apologize for the misinformation. Here is the official credits:
5. Like You’ll Never See Me Again
(Alicia Keys, Kerry Brothers, Jr.)
Produced by Alicia Keys
Co-Produced by Kerry “Krucial” Brothers

I don't think it is timbo but i still love it anyway.
ReplyDeletedoesnt sound like timbo. seems to have been done with no imagination or cutting edge ideas. unlike tim for sure. but who knows maybe its a lazy tim prod. but i doubt it. and there are none of the typical timbaland sounds in it.
ReplyDeleteit's not timbo.
ReplyDeletedon't sound like a timbo track @ all, from the drums and snares to the whole structure..not timbo in my opinion
ReplyDeletethis is hot garbage... no way this timbo...or even royal court with that annoyin dudes voice lol this song is wack as hell...damn if tim is involved with this it makes danjas tracks wit britney classics
ReplyDeletenah, i did doubt this song was tim's when i heard the snippet, but either way pure alicia keys stuff hey damn she's hot lol
ReplyDeleteHe probably didn't make the cut on her album i wish she is going to do just fine without him god i love this woman.
ReplyDeleteIt's speculation that makes shit fun! I wonder how and why it was reported Tim was responsible for this track...
ReplyDeleteI guess we'll have to wait until the album drops or production credits make their way onto the Internet to see if he contributed to the project at all.
Regardless, this joint is HOT! I am looking forward to copping this album when it drops.
I've asked Alicia about the presence of Timbo on her album. It was in july at Paris and she said no.
ReplyDeleteWow. I guess somebody plucked that one out of thin air then! And given his production being everywhere right now and him having worked with Alicia on her last album made it more believeable.
ReplyDeletenope not timbo
ReplyDeleteI hope he didn't. Sounds tired as hell.
