Jose Cenquentez "FYA" produced by Danja

Ginuwine is a busy man these days, with a new album coming April 9 and a lead single coming sometime next month. He's also been on the search for new artists and he's definitely struck gold with his new signee, Jose Cenquentez. The name should sound familiar as he was featured on the Ginuwine track "Chedda" off The Senior back in 2003.

And what do you do with new talent? You give them top notch producers to work with and that's exactly what happened with the SICK as hell Cenquentez/Danja collab called "FYA", check it:

It's tracks like these where I'm reminded the influence of Timbaland on Danja yet Danja does what he does best adding those spooky synth, piano, and organ melodies/sounds throughout the song. Track is grimey! I know understand what Danja brought to N.O.R.E's "Get Down." Hands down, "FYA" is one of my favorite Danja tracks to date. Make sure to keep an eye on Jose Cenquentez.

Big props to Buddha for the hook up.

  3. Tight track. Production is different. Love the uniqueness the production brings to the track. Jose is pretty cool. Didn't really hear nothing too special in this track that would make me say he that next rap artist to blow. Definitely want to hear more from him though...

  4. Beat is good, but ya know... Doesn't go anywhere. But it does have good bounce.

Jose sounds like Berg/Tyga mix. Good.

  5. It's different. I'm on the fence right now. I'd like it more if there was one of the thick Danja open hi-hats on each second beat like he often does, and if the snare was one of his thick, live ones. That would sound sick.

  6. hmmm just an observation here but has danja been changing? i mean when he started he had the evident influence of timbaland...then he went more pop with the britney spears and all...then lately hes been goin..idk how to describe it less bass? (except this track) but they seem idk more high noted or something...hmmm like "Freakin You," "Fire" ((Fire is hott after a while :) ))or "I'm On" hmmm i just cant seem to like his tracks anymore i mean of course i will squeeze the life out of them like i always do they are just so...idk thoughts?
