  2. further proof that the "Danjahandz does all Timbo's work" types are fulla crapola.

not that dude hasn't had his share of tight tracks, and i guess he coulda just given Joe one of his leftovers. but everything i've heard from dude solo's been mad hit-and-miss

  3. ^^ agree. to me this beat sounds so dead and basic. if anything he does his best work witht timbo

  4. Don't agree. His stuff with Timbo is great, but his own stuff is even better on my opinion. It is just different style, not "mad hit-and-miss". You can like it or not.

  5. i dunno. the only solo beat of his that i'd put on the same level of his collaborative stuff is T.I.'s "Tell 'Em I Said That." there're other beats he's got that i like well enough but nothing real mindblowing.

  6. Again, this is the question of tastes. Give him a couple of years and I think you'll got something real mindblowing. Remember, he is only 27)

  7. isn't he 25 or 26? def not 27.

but, Danja's pop always turns out better than his hip-hop and rap stuff. exc in the case of T.I.'s CD, where it's pretty much on the same level.

so, with that said, I guess it's hard to look forward to Danja's collabs with rap artists.

  8. About hip-hop, I think it is lack of experience. He didn't work with big hip-hop names yet (exc T.I.). So I think we don't have enough of his hip-hop works to judge about his future.

  9. I don't understand how you guys are judging a whole song on a 10 second clip. Wait for the shit 2 drop and than make your comments. Danja's rap tracks are hot from the shit he did with his own artist Wyld and Cali Stylz to "We Taking Over" with DJ Khaled which was one of the biggest songs last year. I feel out of all of Tim's protege Danja is the illest and most promising.

    Brian Kidd ain't done much
    Big Tank ain't done much
    Hannon ain't done much

Danja is the only protege to prove that there IS a life after ghost producing for Tim

  10. That was funny ghost producing for Tim assisting him is more like it.

  11. Haha everyone hating on Danja because the dude is talent in its most raw form.

The dude is original, hard working, humble as hell, young, and he is a beast at making tight hits! HE MADE ME PLAY BRITNEY SPEARS REGULARLY... need I say more

  12. no1s hatin dude, we are jus all statin are opinions. if we dnt lyk his beats we dnt lyk his beats it dnt mean we are hating. i feel he does his better work with tim because that way evrything is in check i.e the drumline and da chords. i havent heard many danja traks which i can say are bangin so i do feel he is a hit and miss also, but that being sed i feel dat his best work is in pop

  13. rap songs are usually easy to judge as far as whether you'll like 'em from previews. most of 'em anyway for me.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Not everyone hating, but a lot of people do and I don't actually see why

  15. age ain't nothing but a number 26 or 27 timbo was about 16, 17 years old wen he first started out and his beats were classic crazy beats, waitin till he get older is a poor excuse

    ReplyDelete
  16. What classic crazy beats Timbaland did in 17?

    ReplyDelete
  17. danja is a wannabe

    ReplyDelete
  18. haha you mofo's are saying something negative just to have an opinion, basically every track Danja has done over the past 12 mths has been great, musically and technically. Minus the work on Duran Duran he's probably the most consistent producer in music today.

  19. Danja has so many haters, even more than Timbaland. That's good.

  20. no danja is just average at best. when tim first burst into the scene he was an instant hit, creating inovating music. where is the inovation from danja? his beats sound like half baked timbo beats

    ReplyDelete
  21. Danja sucks now. At first I did think Tim was getting lazy and using others to do stuff for him but you can tell that Tim STILL DOES PRODUCE because when his "assistants" try to produce on their own they sound NOTHING like tracks they assist Tim on. Tim produces, adding his and their flavor into the beat like a chef adding different flavors into a mix but knowing just how much to add. I do think Tim is getting a bit soft again. He's continually using the same drum sound and rhythm arrangements from the Justin era (Futuresex/Lovesounds).
Back in the day he use to always come out fresh. He needs to create classics; bangers and stop making "candy" tracks. It seems once he came out with the Justin sound, he's been trying to stay around that. Maybe soon he'll something blowin' out of the speakers that is new again. But back to this danja, right now he isn,t dangerous with the beats anymore and it is appearing more and more to that he never was; only when Tim ADDS his flavor does he seem "dangerous"; well with nelly and justin, yea but lately even when his flavor is added to a track it just sounds like something Ive already heard. Danja STEP YO GAME UP AND IF YOURE GOING TO BEATBOX CREATE A DIGITAL BOX ON TOP OF YOURS. TIM ALREADY BEATBOX. ADD IT BUT HIDE IT.

  22. Aha-ha, hater)))

  23. whoever just added the last comment must be a dumb one because obviously they do not understand the diffence between opinions and
    jealousy

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sorry, but how is Danja NOT innovative? I've never heard tracks like his. Comparing him to Timbo is actually wack to me...different styles. How are you going to compare someone who likes simple drum patterns and complex melodic elements to someone who likes complex drum patterns and simple melodic elements?

    ReplyDelete
  25. That said, this track preview doesn't do much for me. But ya can't love everything...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Case in point: you did flip out.
And your words do show you're just an immature person who can't take other people's opinions.

    ReplyDelete
  27. chris i totally agree with u. i feel tim is tryna play it safe and stick to this future sex love sounds style. but i dont mind dat cuz tim always surprises me and i have a feelin hes gona come wid a new style or woteva and shock da world.

    ReplyDelete
  28. damn, the fuck's wrong with this comment section. if y'all think Danja's really better than Tim or whatever that's cool but chill with the "hating" BS when people're just discussing stuff.

as for "different styles," c'mon now. yes, obviously they're distinct as comparing their collabo/solo stuff makes obvious, but that doesn't mean one can't be better than the other. this isn't some apples/oranges thing we're talking about.

i think Chris pretty much hit it on the head with his comment. obviously, Danjahandz has been a significant influence in Tim's current sound, with its turn toward a more synth-pop vibe, but the beats have maintained that unique Timbo sense of rhythm and quirkiness, that feels missing from Danja's solo beats to me. he's got some heaters but 'til he steps it up you just can't seriously be talking about 'em on the same level.

not like i don't wanna see dude succeed, he's obviously talented, just that as of _now_ i'm kinda lukewarm on his beats. we'll see what he comes with this year.
