Cop That Disc: Day 26 Day26

Here is the Danja produced "In My Bed" off the new album:

This track threw me for a loop as I really didn't think it was Danja at all. Sounds a lot different than Danja's tracks as of late especially the Danity Kane/Danja tracks. Props to Bigmac for keeping me in line though.

Also don't forget:

"Got Me Going" (written and vocal production by Jim Beanz)

"Co-Star" (vocal production Jim Beanz)

"Come In" (vocal production Jim Beanz)

Your thoughts?

  1. Thats crazy!!
I couldn't stop listening to this tracks. I even said to my friend who is a huge Danja/Tim fan that this has a Danja sound to it. Especially the percussion sounds.
    Dope track!

  5. Hey J Boogie or Czar,
Do you know the guys who runs the site : concreteloop.com ??
They are really making a great job...
    Check out their site.
By the way, I really like that Danja track. The guy is growing from a beat maker for Tim to a world-class producer...
Cause when you hear those tracks, the influence that he have on Timbo new sound is clear.
But the main difference, is that Timbaland have the "sickest" sounds on earth at a point that I'm asking myself where he finds it...
For example listen to "Bounce" off his Shock Value album, it's what I called a "Timbaland state of shock".....
My post is becoming too long.

  9. Funny how my favorite track on the album just happened to be produced by Danja himself. I had no idea.

  10. this album is actually decent.

  11. I've been seeing a Janet Jackson - Feedback Timbaland remix floating around the net and it sounds like Timbo ad libbing in the song. Is this something just an amateur made? It sounds decent

  12. what's the sudden random obsession with vocal production?

  13. Vocal production is only unimportant until you hear poor vocal production. lol

Anyhow, this album is far better than I expected. The overall vibe is not at all what I was expecting.

but, I think you guys are gonna go crazy when you hear what Danja's done for KC.

  15. this joint has some neptunes elements, and i dont mean that he has bitten them.... it just shows how versatile he can be. his skills on the keys are obvious.

  16. KC is a new signee under DMG (Danjahandz Muzik Group)

  17. anyone got any download link to it? so danja has his own record label now?

  18. Pfft, Pharrell's got nothing on Danja. Pharrell just plays the same chords over every RnB track you can think of, with a little variation. It's so boring and repetitive.

Loving these tracks. Timbaland wasn't bullshitting at all when he said Danja would soon become the greatest producer of all time. I'm really starting to see it noW!

  19. Naww i said Neptunes...... by themselves they aren't really with it, but something about that synth reminds me of the neps. Danja is the future though that is for certain.

  20. yo it got the neptunes vibe , def.

  21. I knew this was Danja finally a very good non-pop track.

  22. The Neptunes may have their share of similar-sounding tracks (like pretty much every hip-hop producer ever,) but in their prime? no way Danja could fuck with them where he's at now. he's had his moments but the synths on a bunch of his tracks are real tinny. the best Neptunes productions (and Pharrell solo beats for that matter, at least when he's not making a bad attempt at recreating "Drop It Like It's Hot"-type minimalism) have a full sound that Danja hasn't matched yet.

  23. u guys lyk sum wack beats, dis beat aint a banger its half decent. hes made better rnb beats imo. member its my opinion so u guys dnt need to flip and call me a hater

  24. timbo is the greatest end of discussion. i bet alot of u haven't heard the whole timbo collection to judge or decide who is best.

Danja is gonna be a legend but he has timbo to thank.

  25. i think it is time for some of you all to have a reality check when you say danja will be the best of all time or even better than tim, the beat is nice but the lyrics i feel do not match the beat - what a waste

    ReplyDelete
  26. Lyrics do not determine how good a beatmaker is. However, the beats do, shockingly enough...

I didn't necessarily say Danja is guaranteed to become the greatest producer of all time, just that he has the potential to be.

Heh, you think Timbo made it this far without ANY mentors? If so, you're funny.

  27. it has an acoustic live feel to it, nice from danja...kinda like the katharine mcphee shit... i love this guy

  28. Danja is a Timbo copy cat.
Most of the perc sounds used are picked from Timbo tracks.

If danja was SO great he would have made it on his own.

Danja is really good when it comes to catchy pop/rnb songs.
    He sucks at beats.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Tim is my favorite producer but Danja is clearly not a copy cat i could name a bunch of those, people are trying to copy or sound like danja with the synths but are not doing like him.Its funny how JT,Timbo, and Danja came with that crazy synth r&b techno/house style and Polow/Usher got the number 1 song Seven making Donnie the same kind of beats with almost the same style timbo and danja are ahead of everybody else.

  30. Danja will never be the greatest producer ever, he is not that good of a producer. Tim is just helping this dude get his name out. He is not better than the Neptunes they have put out songs that are so creative from the past and now. You guys need to get off that fool's balls because he is garbage!!!!!!!! TIMBO DA KING!!!!!!
