  2. it'll grow on me, I guess. But, Flo Rida's presence in the song is forgettable when juxtaposed to Timbaland's.

  3. Seriously? Just because Rihanna had a lot of success with the "ella-ella-ella" shit does not mean Tim should follow suit.

    Sick.

  4. Well at first it didnt sound like much until I put headphones on. I like the beat the way the drums came it sounded like that Madonna track. The chorus is tight except for that ella crap.

  5. Wow, i'm really loving it! Best timbo track since a while

  6. OMFG!!!!!!!! Whats wrong with u guys?? Ok the "ella" part sounds a little like umbrellas clone... but still, its a hot beat and a hot song! Even though "Low" disgusts me, I still think its a hot song. But Flo Rida isnt worthy of a timbo beat. I wonder what J Boogie thinks about this song...

  7. i really like the chorus but the rest of the verses are just weak.and yeah lol:timbo doing the ela-ela thing:)and how the hell Flo Rida got timbo anyway??

  8. Funny thought.. everybody knows that madonna got mad when timbo playd the 4 seconds to something track maby madonna dissmised that track and timbo made some differens to it and voila "elevator" ^^

  9. Dude please. Elevator sounds nothing like 4 minutes to save the world. That track will still be on Madonna's album

  13. I love this song! Even though Flo-rida is weak. Great song!

Also am I the only one hearing that timbo used the same sample as in his own track "throwback"

This one is just faster and more cut up

  14. the beat is good, nothing amazing though... and flo rida sucks in general.

  15. hmmm i like it - great beat. honestly tho if it wasn't for timbo's verses - it would be pretty shit. I agree that keri could have at least done back ups, would've completed the song but yeah... somethin bout flo rida in this song i don't like...

  16. without Tim on this track it would be pretty weak as has been said about 100 times already

  17. I think this is the first time timbo actually sung more than the other artists on a track;I mean on shock value he only has 1/4 of the vocals in each track and the rest is sung by the likes of keri or justin. I think is great that tim is finally stepping out of the production boards and actually becoming an artist for himself. The chorus is a killer, timbo definatelly brought much more energy than this flo guy:top 10 4 sure!!!

  18. I hope Timbo does more vocal work on his own album next time. I guess this track shows he can do it alone sometimes.

  19. timbaland ad-libs... I don't know how you guys took rihanna and compared it to what tim does in the chorus.

and how do you know attitude didn't help tim out on this one?

    ReplyDelete
  20. yeah i dont know either how u all compared it just because he says "ella ella" listen to the-dream's album and thats all you can hear lol
and he was one of the writers of the song in question..."umbrella"

this is a cool track though attitude would have been much better on this though.

  21. I think Flo Rida's flow on it is quite good but it seems quiet and distant I have no idea what the hell it is he's saying

the chorus is reeeeeeal nice though I love the slow saw pad synth that comes in

  23. Great beat, great hook but Flo Rida is overshadowed by Timbo.

  24. Finally a Timbo-banger!! love that beat! I really like it when Tim does more than 1 verse in his tracks - and to be honest I didnt even mention thinking about Rihanna when he does his "ela-ela-vator"-thing ;)

  25. Wow, who else hears Halloween theme in the beginning right Flo-Rida starts rapping.

  26. I like both Tim and Flo Rida on this song. DJ is annoying though.

  28. Timbaland hasnt been creative since Aaliyah died.. RIP.. She took some creativity from him when she died he even mentions that..

  29. How many songs is Timbo gonna say "Hey girl" and "come here girl" on? This song is extremely wack at first listen. And seriously, it is not the same as "Umbrella".

  35. I love how disliking a song makes you a hater now.

  36. Damn, way hotter in the HQ. Liking it much more now.

  37. Danja was on Elevator as well. Producing wise that is.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The tune to both choruses of the songs, Elevator and 4 Minutes, are similar. That shouldn't be a surprise because both tracks are Timbaland-produced. It's just lame that he had to do that.

  39. Well, i heard that a certain female star had reportedly slept her way to the top...and for a while i tried to guess who it was....i had two names in my head...nelly furtado and then Rihanna.

This song just seems like a total come back, saying Dont get it twisted...i was the one who made you this big. I love it.

Youre stuck on my ella ella elevator.

    conspiracy theories ey.
