  1. where the hell did danja get those synths, they're the most spacy and alien like sounds i've ever heard

  5. 90% of danja's solo beats are weak

    this one included of course

  6. Danja is the best. I like his solo beats more then beats with Timbaland.

  7. I haven't heard this yet but I'm PRETTY sure that Jim Beanz did vocals for this....

  9. both songs are weak but production wise i like danjas track...sounds different from other tracks he's made sounds... like the drums from that old school track "set it off"

  10. Danja is Timbo's best student right now (Brian Kidd is his best ever). I don't see why everybody is so amazed with Hannon Lane. He hasn't proven himself yet.

  12. hannon is trash in my opinion, and brian kidd is mad repitive his tracks are dull...danja whole style has changed i give him that way better then those two...but stillno way near tim, thats if he really makes his on beats these dayz

  13. i think this is more clutch. there always making odd sounding tracks. this song is not polished enough to be a danja track

  14. man...danja is def making it harder for "danga-alikes", aka leaches, to survive.

you kno you a biter if you got a track that sounds anything near this one.

  16. "pretty boy" is a little to crazy (maybe just to crazy for Danity Kane). Even for Danja this sounds extremely futuristic/spacy.. While listening to it, it reminds me of some Tracks from "Daft Punk"

  17. I think I like "Damaged" better... may have to give "Pretty Boy" a second spin when I get home.

  18. Danja doesn't bite tim's sound like kidd, danja's beats are more out there and original his hip hop beats need to get to par with his pop beats.

  19. yeah, i've given both a spin several times over and eventhough I feel that 'Damaged' is more radio friendly, 'pretty boy' is flippin' wicked.

    so whichever really.

  20. the danity kane's "right now" prod by timbo was their best song...it's no where near these two tracks.Of the two I'm gonna go with damaged, which I think is 100% the clutch; pretty boy is like too year 3000 for me!this doesn't mean danja is weak cause he sure proved himself on other projects like the duran and britney albums

  21. my vote goes to 'Damaged'

  22. My only thing about Danja is that his drums are always weak. Unless Timbo is helping him.

  23. I've always felt the same way. His biggest weakness is that he doesn't really know how to give his drums enough bass. I think he should chill out on the synths and focus more on the impact of the actual beat itself.

  24. I like the song, but the chorus should've had the same bounce as the first verse. Overall it sounds like the beat switch in "The way I are" and it also sounds like a Keri Hilson song, they even sing like her on some parts. It wouldn't surprise me if she wrote it. In fact, I'd probably like it more if Keri had done the whole song. Overall I like it though.

  27. Go to Wikipedia.

    Tim > Danja > Kidd > Hannon

Honestly, Brian Kidd hasn't done much, considering how long he's been around.

  28. i love Danja, but this song is just sounds odd and off-key to me. personally i think its his worst song yet

  29. "this song is not polished enough to be a danja track"

It's highly likely he'll tighten it up for the final release of the single (if it's chosen) or Danity Kane's sophomore set; just like how he did for all of the leaked joints he produced for Blackout. They sounded good, but incomplete and unpolished. Then he went and switched the hell out of them for the finalized album.

I'm a Danja stan. :P But the one thing you gotta give him is that his sound is becoming more and more distinguishable from Timbo's. He is overworking the whole Euro pop synth sound, but for the moment I'm liking it. I would like his more melodic / not so synthed out tracks to get some air time though. The shit he did for Katharine McPhee and Nikki Flores were just as hot as his synthed out club joints.
