BossPlayya checkin in.
Now, I'm a fiend when it comes to the credits....yeah, yeah...I know they ain't always correct, but it's something about seein ur favorite artists', or in this case fave producer's name in writing. Kanye dropped Tim's name in an interview a while back, but now it's confirmed...and it's not just STRONGER, but also GOOD LIFE...we know thats the next single, so when that instru drops it's a Timstru by default right?
As an aside, it's good to see Kanye and Jon Brion maintained a relationship beyond the last record, and Toomp drops some serious tracks. Maybe hats why he was too busy for T.I.

ReplyDeletejon brion co-produced bittersweet...that song was a song cut from late registration
I just wrote everything straight from the booklet. I'll go and reread it. It's in my car now. Maybe his name (Jon Brion) was listed as doin somethin on the track. And yes, I know that track was from the LR project.

I could list samples if y'all want, I usually dont care too much.
please list the samples lol
ReplyDeleteThe reason why Toomp is messing with T.I anymore was because T.I. paid Toomp like $16,000 for "What You Know" when he gave Just Blaze, Pharrell & Mannie Fresh like $50,000 - $100,000 each track they produced. He just plain messed up
ReplyDeletePS: Please give us the samples lol!
OK, samples comin up....
ReplyDeleteAnd to the guy that said Jon Brion co-produced BITTERSWEET, he is not credited. Kanye and John Mayer get writing credit. Strings arranged by Miri Ben-Ari.
