Keeping the new Timbaland music train going here is another Duran Duran/Timbo track. A lot of you said you were looking forward more to "Skin Divers" than "Night Runner" so here's it is for you to compare:

I am still going to go with "Night Runner" out of the 2 of them. I will admit though I like the sounds (versus the beat) a lot better in this track. For Duran Duran's first single they decided to go with "Falling Down" (co-wrriten and featuring Justin Timberlake) rather than "Night Runner". Big thanks to Macedes for the link.

"Skin Divers" must not have a lot of oomph... either that or I'm not playing it loud enough (it is 4AM, after all).

ReplyDeletelol...i liked the live version better...:)...this probably must be the unmastered version...but if it's the final version I have to say that I'm really dissapointed...I expected it to sound much more better...I still say it's a very hot beat but it just doesn't have enough power!!!
ReplyDeleteDurans Durans music is not really suppossed to have booming power but at the same time I also think this track is unmastered/lq so just keep that in mind...
ReplyDeleteHas nothing to do w/ mastering here. It's the mix. Hopefully this is kinda a rough mix. Mastering processing is a subtle overall, and it will not bring energy to a song if the mix isn't there.
