  2. Yea does need Tim, im mean the beats are decent but its nothing that i was blown away by, the beat that i like was with the live drums, that was it, the other shits was boring.

  3. does anyone know where the first mixtape can be downloaded from?

  4. na man...he doesnt need tim...its just mixtape beats..mixtape beats are supposed to be simple/different

  5. Man i fail to see what about this music wud make ppl think he needs timbo. This stuff shows alot of versatility to his sound and the drums in mailman are crazy man. Danja is crazy man.

  6. Danja didnt do "Mail Man".
And was I the only one that thought of "Cocababy" when they heard "Can I Get That"?

  7. Ye thx rune I realised. That song is crazy man.

  9. I'm a tim fan and I like danja, but fans of both have the right to critique if you don't like it you don't like it simple as that.

  10. ah, well. "Critique" is usually a little bit more than 'danja needs timbaland to make a beat'

but, has anyone else noticed that Danja doesn't register his mixtape beats with the SESAC?

  11. sorry for doubling up on posts, but tha bizness is kinda outshining Danja a bit... he's failed to disappoint me since I heard him on Bishop Lamont's "Confessional" mixtape (I thought he was Danja, so that's a good look)

  12. I gotcha at this point danja doesn't need tim and vice versa, but they work well together when they do. I would like to hear more solo of both of them.

  13. Tim and Danja typically work well together... in fact, I prefer when they do. But, cuts like "Voices" from Hard Candy make you wonder whether they actually did something or Justin Timberlake produced it

  14. Lmao at fred...sorry maybe you accept "averageK beats aka danja, but not me...without timbo danaj=another average producer that can't make songs...danja should stick with tim if he's smart...timbaland shows me he's the brains behind all the songs they made together everytime I hear a solo danja track...sorry

  15. "I'ma Go Hard" by far is the best track. Damn I love a good drum stutter!

  16. Got to be honest here. I don't really like these beats. Danja's I mean. He had one or two nice ones, like the one with the live drums with the hi freq cut and the choir used as reverb for the snares. Sounds like a Megaman type... or least NES type melody.

The other producers... like the ones Sheez and The Bizness are crazy! They definetly outshined Danja, not matter how much I am a fan of Danja or Tim, etc... I must tell the truth.

    Wylde did good though.

I kind of wish the mixes were better. I understand the lack of substance in Danja's beats on this project though... I'm sure he has mad projects coming up. Plus I know he is originally a Pop producer... so yah...

    But...

On the flip note... for those of you that has been following me and my progression... I have a new Piano driven RnB track snippet! My first time making a piano driven beat, and this is my second RnB beat!

    Check it out:

I've been producing for 12 months, playing keys for 4 months.

    Add me! :)

No new music added though, so consider this a little listen for you folks!

  17. timnmagoo3: sounds like you're living in the past... you probably don't even like Tim's new shit, and clearly you're not too happy about Danja coming into the fold. i could say much more, but I'd rather talk about this Danja-fronted mixtape.

back to what's pertinent: I seem to prefer "Baby I See You". Reminds me of "Chop Me Up" from FutureSex/LoveSounds. and, it just seems to have that dark atmosphere about it

  18. and venture bro... stop posting zshare links that get taken down in 2 seconds! haha

put it somewhere I can actually hear it. LIKE ON YOUR MYSPACE.

  19. & i'm mad that on that graphic they spelled "production" as "procuction"... i NEED to go to sleep

  20. The thing with Danja is that he's good with his drums but the rest is usually just a NES sample or something. But even then, his drums are always hard where as Timbaland can mix it up with soft ones.

Oh, and Danja will never come up with a "Work It" or a "Get Your Freak On".

  21. I agree, Rune, i dont think Danja can make anything as hot as those tracks n you can take it further to Deliverance, My Tone, Drop It etc. Tim has a lot of bangers that Danja cant top.

  23. lmao 2 fred again...tims new stuff is killing danja...poor danja though...nes beats only take you so far...soon maybe he will move onto snes beats...sad but true but danja without tim is like missy without tim...
missy cant sell anymore and is struggling with a weak danja produced tracks...i listened to it 4 times...and got bored again...best best its called right? if you want a cheapy waterdown tim track call danja..]btw tims new stuff is amazing...the chris cornell tracks are awesome...so as far as your point fred...there isnt one. keep listening to your danja tracks though...some people like average..its ok your just that guy thats all.

  24. I mean the tape is cool, but u can hear Danja didn't give him his best beats. I think it would be better for Wyld now to put out single material, instead of one more mixtape

    ReplyDelete
  25. actually, crown life has access to any danja beat they want...that's hundreds and hundreds and hundreds! these beats go back to danja's hiphop roots, and i personally think it's exactly what we've been missing right now

    ReplyDelete
  26. fo sure he has access to every Danja track he likes, but it doesnt make sense anyway to give out a-list tracks for mixtapes...

  27. Say what you will about Timbaland and Danja but the fact remains:

Their best production work from the last 3 years has been together.

  28. By bad yall!

  29. lol YEP I'M JUST THAT GUY

not that i don't like tim, cuz how else would I have found Danja?

  30. I dunno why ppl wud hate on Danja so much as to say that he will never top Timbaland, because in all honesty he is young, both in the solo game, and in his actual age, and he has plenty of artists to meet and create magic with. What Tim did with Missy was a collaborated effort. It was chemistry that made that stuff so hot, not just the beat. DAnja will probably never recapture it, because that chemistry is with Missy and Tim, not to forget too that Missy is in another generation now so her sound is not going to appeal to the senses as much.

The Neptunes gave her a hot beat, but who remembers or rates "On And On" highly? Not many ppl. Predicting that Danja will never touch Timbaland is really harsh, especially when their hits from the past few years have such strong elements from him. Give him time to grow rather than knocking him over mixtape beats and older generation artists. His Duran Duran stuff was just as listenable as the Chris Cornell, but Duran Duran could have gotten evrybody but God to make a beat for them and they wud still hav flopped.

  31. Some people just never will accept him I do he helped tim along with losing weight, get him out of his funk he was having about the music industry and even though he predicted pop is where the money is going to be made at Danja helped him no matter what people say and that is not a bad thing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. wyld is nice he definatley delivered on this one you can hear the growth and as far as the production goes danja and the rest of the producers did an excellent job as well so my only other input on this is tim and the rest of them can scoot over cause
it looks like danja got a team full of young gunnaz ready to gettum in other words make way for the future
