No Timbaland on The Game's L.A.X

We all heard what The Game said but in the end it didn't happen or perhaps the track got cut. Early L.A.X tracklistings listed a song called "Whatcha Gonna Do" produced by Timbaland however the track was not on the final tracklisting:

  2. Tim will be on Jay's album he just isn't doing the whole thing.I'm glad I never thought he would make the cut not because the track would be bad thats just the way tims supposed tracks have been going.Maybe a deluxe version or a mixtape I read he was going to put a bunch of tracks that didn't make the cut on mixtapes we will see...

  3. Hell of a guest list for Game but not including Tim is a mistake.

I don't even know what to say about Jay Z. He's an icon but his music sucks now. I think he's jealous of Timbaland's success. Jay's never had singles chart success ala Nelly and Justin. I think he's content getting one hit, 500,000 in the first week and another completely forgetable album. Maybe he's just too old to care about making good music.

  6. ewww! i hate albums like this! albums where every song has a featured artist and is produced by 50 different producers!
why do artists doom themselves like this soooo many times?
these types of albums are never awarded!
if it has too many people on the album it feels like they cant do a song by themselves without sounding like ass...
and if it has to many producers then the album dosent go in one direction and ends up going 30million different ways instead of the whole album being on the same page!
i know ppl hav been saying that hip-hop has died for years but 2day i officialy think it is beyond dead.
    this is horrible...

  8. I heard the Nottz track feat. Ludacris should be the illest beat. Huge Nottz fan anyway, so who cares about Timbo at this point...

  9. Did a moderator on this site just hype a Nottz track and then ask who cares about Timbo?

Whew, I was dissapointed that Tim wasn't on the Game's LAX until I heard he got Nottz to step in. Awesome. Nottz fer dayz.

The only reason people come on this site is to hear or read about what Tim is going to do next. If you think Nottz has anything on Tim, you should start a Nottz blog. It will be you and Nottz mom conversing back and forth. Sounds fun.

  11. I would like to say that Jay-Z music doesn't suck and maybe you should listen to American Gangster again. But anyway Tim not being on L.A.X. is a disappointment again because he was supposed to be on Doctor's Advocate as well. Put on the Game was one of the best tracks on the first one. I'm looking forward to hearing Jay and Tim together again. It's been awhile.

what the hell u talkin?? did I post something about Nottz? Nah its just a comment. should I cry cause a Timbo track didnt make it? I am just tired of all those rumours of Tim being on such and such album and at the end of the day we hear shit. I am not part of that discussions anymore. Let me tell you what. Being an artist on e.g. Interscope, u basically have access to Tim tracks if u want, no problem I would say. So just cause u made a demo track doesnt mean it's gonna make the album at the end of the day. Artists should shut the fuck up sometimes. whats the sense behind hyping up an album by naming a bunch of producers. so yeah I am happy to see Nottz being on the album!!! and now swallow it b****

  15. Timbo done set his mark so fucking high, that people want to do tracks with him, then they get cut...based on the terms:

You needed Timbo to sell albums.

That's when you KNOW your the greatest producer of all time. Some people dont even go to Tim anymore because they feel its a CHEAP WAY to get a hit, because its damn near garanteed and they wanna do it without him. Once again..the game has been changed...thanks to Timbo. lol. Keep up the good work Tim.

  16. I kindove like The Game, and I really liked Dope Boyz ( I heart Travis Barker) but the most intresting thing about this (Meh...) album is that Scott Starch is on it. He actually got work!

  17. I'm always anxious to hear new music from the Bassment crew, but Game has capable producers on there and the production is solid.

here's my review of the album:
