    LMAO.. I WONDER WAT JD WOULD HAVE SAID IF THE CAMERA WASNT ON. IF U DONT KNOW IN 04 JD WAS HAVIN A LIL BEEF BETWEEN HIM VS. DR DRE & TIM. EMINEM, DR. DRE & TIM EVEN HAD A DIS TRACK AIMED @ HIM WITH EMINEM.

    THE SQUASHED IT & IT WAS DONE. BUT WHAT MAKES NO SENSE 2 ME IS Y IS HE BITCHIN. ON THE MTV AWARDS JD WAS ASKED HIS OPINIONS ON WHO SOULD WIN PRODUCER OF THE YEAR & HE SAID "TIMBALAND, BECAUSE HE CHANGED THE GAME THIS YEAR".

    SO CAN SOME1 TELL HIM THT THE REASON HE IS ON THE COVER OF BILLBOARD IS BECASUE HE IT TIMBALANDS INSPIRATION & HANDY MAN 4 THE NEW SOUNDS. THIS YEAR ALONE TIM & DANJA HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE CHARTS.

    Ok.. here's the deal ..Danja is a really talend guy.. Usher has sad a record!!.. Ush is more respective artist around one of the biggest out there ... dont get me wrong but i like danja it is just that Ush had more reason to be on the cover than danja

    JD is just a jealous idiot. Danja's contribution to the music biz in recent times has been absolutely massive. Bigger than his own and he's helped sell more records than all of Usher's last album sales.

    I mean does anyone really care about Usher anymore? That 'Love in the Club' track is lame - maybe he shoulda got a single from Danja :0

    you cannot compare danja to usher because usher is just that big hes got tons of number one hits and danja is new i can understand how they wanna show the "new artist of tomorrow" type deal but to me its a slap in the face to usher danja just aint all that compared to usher

    Producers are ruling everything because artists are scared to show any real artistry and do their own thing nowadays. Artistry is more evident in the producers' work than the artists. Everybody wants to play it safe and sound like everything else. So nowadays, the only different-sounding stuff comes when someone creative like Danja is widely accepted in the industry. Of course there are exceptions, but...

    As i see it, it doesn't matter what JD says personally. Sure Billboard did a double cover. They are a business!!!! So you are gonna just blame the state of music just because of a cover?!?!?Usher has sold millions of record and is a very successful artist but number one artist world?!!?!? That is definitely NOT the case. And Jermaine can't talk when his label hasnt had a platinum record since BOW WOW was signed to him. Sure he makes hit records but they dont change the sound of music or take it to another level like Tim/Danja/Royal Court/Hannon Lane/ Clutch/Soul Diggaz and other people in the Tim camp have. Consistancy doesn't mean complacency.

    That ain't got nothing to do with shit besides JD being mad Usher didn't get a cover in the lead up to his album. It could have been Quincy Jones in Danja's position and JD still would have been complaining.

    To those of you talking about "Usher is a bigger personality, he's sold more records, he's had more hits, he's contributed more to music" .. Where are you pulling this information from? Didn't Danja have around seven top 10 singles just last year plus the #1 record in the world right now? If we're talking about whats currently hot then I'd say Danja is more than appropriate for the cover.

    Maybe Billboard didnt want to base their Dicision just on who's got the most Sales and who's longer in the Business but alson on how much Buzz someone has at some Point.

    I bet it wasnt too easy for the Editors and Staff at Billboard to come up with this Decision now. BNet there were also a lot of other Opinions on how the Cover should look like.

    nope i don't hate danja. i just hate his tippers who overate anybody who is new. it's rather ridiculous. but jd's comments have very little to do with danja. it's about putting someone who's green over someone who is established. on top of that it's a producer. producers aren't supposed to be on the cover of billboard. but instead ppl assume jd is jealous or hating when it's far from the truth. he says danja is talented. you don't hate on ppl and say they're talented. when the truth is spoken then that's what it is. don't cry because you love danja more than jesus.

    when it comes to producers people seem to think you have to produce stuff over a long period of time before you can even comment on how good they are or put them among the elite.

    i think a lot can be said for a producer just by hearing the quality and cohesiveness of their sound over a few records. if its on that level then its on that level whether they been doing it for years or not.

    i think danja has already proved himself to be within the elite - he doesn't follow such a strict formula as urban produces that have come before him (scott storch) he's got real innovation going on in his records in the same vein as tim has always had.

    as far as JD Danja has produced tracks that are way behond his ability and how long had JD been producing for? he's a lame cookie cutter producer who knows the game fairly well and can bolster together some pretty melodies. he doesn't truly work with SOUND.

    and Usher isn't cool anymore - that Love in the Club track is cliched to the max. Given Tims recent successes it seems that people do want to hear something edgier and experimental. Tim/Danja > Polow 'Da Don'

    The fact is that its a business and they are going to make money! Whether JD or anybody says anything is not going to change that. Lead by example people. Actions are WAY louder then words. Jd is at a situation where he has influence. Damn he IS the head of Island Records right?!!? Like i said before JD is talented but i mean that Rocko CD was not a good start but was salvaged when Mariah Carey came out. Again she IS established though. In this music business, people say your only as good as your last album. That being said.... Go support GOOD music not that novelty, ringtone bullshit.

    How is JD not dissing Danja when he doesn't even want to acknowledge him? He kept saying "who is that on the cover?". Danja never came out of JD's mouth.
    Granted it all looks staged to make sure Usher gets attention first with JD in the spotlight plugging Usher.
    Sad display of attention, should he wanted to make an impact, he should have talked to Billboard or better yet, the Better Business Bureau.
