We get ALL of Madonna's Hard Candy

Some leaked Madonna tracks have hit the net, 6 to be exact and the buzz is HUGE! Both The Neptunes and Timbaland weren't playing around when they got into the studio and of course neither was Danja and Hannon. The tracks finding their way around at the moment are:

"Give It To Me"
"Heartbeat"
"Incredible"
"Miles Away"
"She's Not Me"
"The Beat Goes On" featuring Kanye West

that's along with "Candy Shop" which leaked along time ago and of course "4 Minutes." I have to say Timbo and Danja killed it on "Miles Away." They took a very classic Madonna style and flipped it in their own way. Pharrell (and Chad from what I keep hearing) proved with this album why they are who they are. "The Beat Goes On" is definitely a highlight and blows the original version out of the water. The whole album has that uptempo dance feel, with a little disco mixed in along with a technoesque sound as well.

Update:: Hard Candy has made it's way online in all it's Timbo, Neptunes, Danja, Hannon glory with the added touch of Justin Timberlake. What's your favorite track? What do you think of the album as a whole? Best album of the year so far? Let us know!

You know we all talk of leaks and how great they are but make sure you got out their and support these artists. On April 29th, go to Amazon, go to iTunes, or go to your favorite music store and COP THAT DISC!

  1. The songs really are amazing. OTher three Timbo's songs (Voices, Dance 2night and Devil Wouldn't Recognise You) will 100 % leak today.

This album is going to be #1 all over the world - another huge success for 'dream team' - Madonna, Timbo, Danja and Pharrell!

  3. Miles Away is really good...

And judging from the clips floating around, Devil Wouldnt Recognize You sounds amazing.

I'm looking forward to that one, along with Spanish Lesson, which sounds like it BUMPS!

...based on what has leaked so far, i'd have to say Pharrell (and Chad?) MURDERED Timbo this time around

  9. I like the sound of the album.

Skateboy P brought it hard on this.
He did right on 'Heartbeat' and 'Beat Goes On' sounds better than the leaked snippets a while back.

'Miles Away' sounds the most Madonna sounding than any of the tracks. That and 'Voices'

    yeah, fairly Solid album.
Overhyped, but what can ya do these days. Lots of things get overhyped.

Eitherway, Madonna's gonna make A LOT of money from this.

  12. Good stuff. However I got the vibe that TIimbo got Hannon and Danja to do most his work. I barely smell Tim except for 4 mins Drum pattern, and elements on Miles Away.

    Still a good album.

  22. the songs are great...my only concern is that we have breaks in all the tracks but neither one is on the level of Justin's FS/LV. It's definitely worth it's money and I predict sales that will probably match but NOT surpass madonna's other albums, and I think this is what's most important in judging the outcome of this Madonna/Superproducers collabo album. My fav tracks: Miles Away, Heartbeat,Beat Goes On and 4 Minutes(which remains the best candidate for the first single)+ I don't like the fact that Madonna isn't giving Pharell the credit he deserves,he sure worked his ass off for these tracks and I'm hoping he's going to have the comeback should have.

  23. solid beats!!!

  24. amazing... the only bad song is spanish lessons..

Dance 2Nite is fucking amazing.. the ending.. the tim/danja/hannon tracks stood out the most to me.. even though the neptunes had some really great moments to like on "give it to me" .. the get stupid part..

and the switch at the end of "Shes Not Me"

  29. I LOOVVVE THIS ALBUM CLASSIC PRODUCTION FROM ALL ENDS LOVE EVERY TRACK...but the ILL tracks are obviously... 'GIVE IT TO ME', 'MILES AWAY', 'BEAT GOES ON', 'DANCE 2NIGHT', 'DEVIL WOULDN'T RECOGNIZE YOU', AW THE HELL WITH IT THE WHOLE DAMN ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  30. Pharrell produced camp Timbo under a bus. I love Timbo and Danja - but Pharrell came better. I love how Madonna sounds on all of his productions: unrestrained and uncontrolled. He KILLED it on "Heart beat" ("See my booty get down like...") and "Give it 2 me". Those two have to be his slickest productions to date. I also love his beat switches on "She's not me" and "Incredible". "Heartbeat" is complete crack I LOVE that beat.

"Miles away" is as hot as we all knew it would be. It's probably the albums stand out track. Camp Timbo took that strummy Madonna sound ("Love profusion", "Hollywood") and put a hot spin on it with the drums and melody. I don't like the beat switch though, I think it dampers the beauty of the song. This should definitely be the third single.

I don't think Hard candy is album of the year though. I can't help but think that Gwen Stefani would've done the whole entire album better. Most of the songs all sound like they were meant for her.

  31. solid album. nothing more!

  32. + miles away
    + devil_wouldnt_recognize_you

    best tracks from the album!

  33. agree with the guy who says Timbo is only visible on 4min.

    Its a Ok pop album.
Madonna goes (back to) pop RnB, the way she started out.

I dont think the way she sings nowadays, tone and timing suits modern pop/rnb. Suits trance/house/garage.

Too bad Madonna didnt build on her semi souly voice on "holiday" "into the groove" etc.

Instead of bubly temper, sex and playfulness she has gone selfimportant, stiff and "important lyrics" (are semi philosofical nonsense when its best ;-)

    Still a OK pop/rnb album.

Dont know why u say Pharell is "back" and has "outdone himself".
On this album both Timbo and Pharrell are underathievers, they can do much much better.

    ReplyDelete
  34. To be honest: I love the production on this album...but Madonna totally ruins those beats.

Her lyrics are so mediocre and her voice is really flat.

I would have loved to see Justin taking all those beats and making his new album out of it.

  35. co signin' that^^

  37. Across The Sky and La La (The 2 other Tim/Danja/Hannon/Justin) songs are supposed to be bonus tracks on the Europe and Japan Editions of the albums.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ Big mac
I thought Pharrell's "Ring my bell" was the Japanese bonus track?!

    @ Sean
I agree with you on the lyrics and her voice. Her delivery is so deadpan and controlled. It does my head in. Only on the choruses of Pharrell's productions does she let go a little. But on the verses she sounds dead. Just how she did on her last 2 albums. As I said before - Gwen Stefani would've done the whole album better had she gotten the same beats. Joints such as "Give it 2 me", "Incredible" and "Heartbeat" have her name written all over them. And she would've killed it on "Dance 2night".

  39. it's rare that a song makes me cry...Miles Away...that song sounds so beautiful, listen to that harmony
wow this album is HOT, Madonna and the rest did such a good job

  41. apart from madonna's 50 year old photoshopped cleavage (which we don't wanna see) being all over the promo material...this lp is a solid effort. great production, i can see the points about deadpan delivery though - she does sound a bit lifeless at times.

dance 2night is pretty groovy, but i think tim could of brought something better to the table. the album version of 4 minutes is horrible too. pharell with some nice productions though! well worth a download.

  42. Loved the album at first listen, especially the Pharrell productions.
