Too much Pharrell.
ReplyDeleteNo Bull!! [production wise] this looks like the BEST come-back album ever. We'll find out in no-time.
ReplyDeletetoo much Pharrell, I co-sign. He's wack to me solo, sorry
ReplyDeleteDon't worry! There are two tracks produced by Timbo that will be on singles' B-sides.
ReplyDelete8 by pharell 5 by timbaland camp !!! sounds like a dream album !!
ReplyDeletewhy does this remind me of Justified?
ReplyDeleteHopefully it truns out well..
Actually it's 7 by Pharrell, because Ring My Bell is Japan and iTunes exclusive.
ReplyDeleteHannon and Danja on the same track... let's get it
ReplyDeleteNO CHAD=BAD
ReplyDeleteNo Chad is not just bad, it's a disaster. Pharrell suck solo.

dont know how this will be being a huge fan of stuart price's work i wish he was on the album, confessions was one of the best albums i heard production wise.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree no chad equals bad
ReplyDeletei think Pharrell can be good without Chad, he just needs to stick to "Young Girl"/"Number One"-style synth/piano-pop instead of making more "Wind It Up"-style minimabortions
ReplyDeletealso, let's hope "Candy Shop" is better than the Curtisss one.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteu can find candy shop on line. i got it on limewire. it leaked bout a year ago in HQ. It was supposed to be the 1st single. Its pretty hot, you'll probably like it :)
^^^^^
ReplyDeleteoh and i 4got somthing else! u can also find "beat goes on" on limewire too! its in HQ as well but dosent hav Kanye West in it. its also really goooood!
Those are writers credits...Its very likely that Chad helped with the production.
ReplyDeleteI actually like Pharrell solo. Sounds like a nice list to me. And does the Joe Henry writing credit on "Devil Wouldn't Recognize You" mean a Joe Henry sample? I love that guy's last few albums. Of course it could be some other Joe Henry...
ReplyDeleteChad did help on The Neptunes tracks.
ReplyDeleteummmmm... so why is tim getting all the shine??? looks like pharrell got the bulk... but i agree.... can't wait to hear this...
ReplyDeletecan't wait!!
ReplyDeleteMiles Away sounds so smooth and brilliant. Chorus is soo catchy! It's alot better than 4 minutes i reckon
Voices will be interesting when it comes out. All the best producers are on it. Timbo, Danja, Hannon Lane...cant get much better than that!
Joe Henry is Madonna's brother-in-law. He has written two singles for her: Don't Tell Me and Jump.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, tracks by Pharrell are co-produced by Chad Hugo too. Here is the prove (first Hard Candy TV promo):

This album is getting amazing reviews! Reviewers like all tracks produced by Tim. Some of his tracks are pure pop (Dance 2night), amazing ballads (Miles Away, Devil Wouldn't Recognise you), R'n'B & Hip Hop(4 Minutes)and there is also an amazing (dark) track (Voices), reminiscent of some Massive Attack's tracks.
hip-hop producers are pretty much always credited as co-writers. the beats being credited to "The Neptunes" isn't a surprise because other than his own solo album, Pharrell's been crediting himself as that for the last couple years.
ReplyDeleteand there's a noticeable difference between the types of tracks he's done by himself and with Hugo
I cant wait at one time my favorite producers the neptunes and Timbo always number 1.
ReplyDeletejust heard the ntire album and it's garbage, pure garbage. it's def not what i expected.
ReplyDeleteThe Entire Hard Candy Album !!!!
