  12. I have to agree no chad equals bad

    ReplyDelete
  13. i think Pharrell can be good without Chad, he just needs to stick to "Young Girl"/"Number One"-style synth/piano-pop instead of making more "Wind It Up"-style minimabortions

  14. also, let's hope "Candy Shop" is better than the Curtisss one.

  17. Those are writers credits...Its very likely that Chad helped with the production.

  18. I actually like Pharrell solo. Sounds like a nice list to me. And does the Joe Henry writing credit on "Devil Wouldn't Recognize You" mean a Joe Henry sample? I love that guy's last few albums. Of course it could be some other Joe Henry...

  19. Chad did help on The Neptunes tracks.

  20. ummmmm... so why is tim getting all the shine??? looks like pharrell got the bulk... but i agree.... can't wait to hear this...

  21. can't wait!!

Miles Away sounds so smooth and brilliant. Chorus is soo catchy! It's alot better than 4 minutes i reckon

Voices will be interesting when it comes out. All the best producers are on it. Timbo, Danja, Hannon Lane...cant get much better than that!

  22. Joe Henry is Madonna's brother-in-law. He has written two singles for her: Don't Tell Me and Jump.

  23. Don't worry, tracks by Pharrell are co-produced by Chad Hugo too. Here is the prove (first Hard Candy TV promo):

This album is getting amazing reviews! Reviewers like all tracks produced by Tim. Some of his tracks are pure pop (Dance 2night), amazing ballads (Miles Away, Devil Wouldn't Recognise you), R'n'B & Hip Hop(4 Minutes)and there is also an amazing (dark) track (Voices), reminiscent of some Massive Attack's tracks.

  24. hip-hop producers are pretty much always credited as co-writers. the beats being credited to "The Neptunes" isn't a surprise because other than his own solo album, Pharrell's been crediting himself as that for the last couple years.

and there's a noticeable difference between the types of tracks he's done by himself and with Hugo

  25. I cant wait at one time my favorite producers the neptunes and Timbo always number 1.

  26. just heard the ntire album and it's garbage, pure garbage. it's def not what i expected.
