The album is defiinitely a grower. Chad & Kenna make a great combo especially on "Hot Sutff" but it's the Royal Court and Jim Beanz who really shine with their production, writing, and vocals upgrading Simpson's prior young girl sound and giving it that edgier yet pop appeal. Take note this is one of the first times Timbaland has been credited with prodcution but not writing credits. Very interesting indeed. Make sure to get check out your local retailer, Amazon or iTunes to pick up your copy of the album in stores today!

And who is Santi White you ask? None other thanSantogold, who for me has the most anticipated album of the year coming out next week. I can only hope she and Tim got the chance to work together.

  1. Naw Chad Hugo and Kenna got this one. They gave her variety out of their 5 tracks (Bonus Track: I'm Out). Boys doesnt sound like No Time For Tears (EPIC!) which doesnt sound like Hot Stuff (2nd BEST SONG).

  2. Why did Tim actually do on this?

I didn't know Kenna was THAT involved in this, interesting.

  3. i noticed the lack of writing credits on allmusic. don't get what it means, was he not directly involved with the beatmaking process or what? the couple tracks i heard in full before this dropped did sound kinda generic and not up to Timbo's standards.

  4. what does vocal production mean exactly?

  5. i guess 'Murder' is the only track Tim actually touched. the rest is too fuckin weak to be Tim, he just oversaw the production process.

  6. Timbo used to be bout quality , now it seems its all about quantity.

    Much like this forum..........

The Simpson stuff is crap, shouldnt have touched all the crap artists he's been producing for.

  7. This is not a disc I'll be copping. I'm not even interested in hearing this. Everything from what I've heard so far to the album cover screams 'nobody could be bothered to put in any effort'. Ashlee needs to sit her ass down!

  8. Tim did absolutely nothing on the tracks. Not even Murder:
Guitar and Guitar Production: Ray Brady
    Bass Guitar: Joey Kamani
    Keyboard Production: Jerome "Jroc" Harmon
Drums and Programming Production: King Logan

Tim doesnt have a single credit besides it saying Produced by Timbaland (and King Logan and Jerome Harmon)

  9. all the timbo tracks blow, take the fucking guitar out and let timbo do his stuff, no need to have a fucking guitar in every track, it makes it sound gay.

  11. Boogie PLEASE do the same thing with the Madonna CD with all the credits when it releases...that is.

    Break it down by:

    -Producer
    -Co-Production
    -Vocal Producer
    -Engineer
and who played what instruments on the tracks

  12. Tim did produce on this..

but producing doesnt exactly mean being 100% hands on.

he could've just been behind the board and said "take this out/put this in"..what producers do.

  13. They've said Tim wasn't even in the studio.
And for the Madonna credits its gonna be difficult because the Tim tracks have like 7 engineers and alot of extra that people really dont wanna know. I sent him a message with the Madonna credits.

  14. This CD is pure garbage because Ashley sounds like a poodle getting raped by an elephant.

  15. Is it the beats that are bad or just Ashlee Simpson in general? I gotta admit it's tough to like someone simply cuz they worked with my favorite producer.

  17. ^^Nope, just another fake "Timbaland Production"

  18. Ashlee Simpson in general and the fact that this whole CD is so shady. I would appreciate the productions more if it just says produced by Royal Court and not Timbaland, we all know Tim didn't do shit on it.

  19. BIGMAC2098

Can you send me the Madonna credits to sshearer04@yahoo.com please?

And I like the productions on this CD Royal Court is Royal Court not TIMBO and Ashlee Sucks but the production shines.

  20. i kinda take a weird joy in seeing Tim's proteges fail, if only cuz it shows the "Tim doesn't do his own beats" claims to be bullshyte.

not that i'd be mad if Danjahandz or these guys stepped their game up or anything.

  24. I kinda agree with trey stone with all the claims storch/danja/kidd/hannon do all the production tim stealing credit, and i would like the royal court get full credit because we all know tim didn't do anything.

  25. Ashlee is garbage and the beats are too. They just all sound weak and samey. There is nothing about any of the songs that make you wanna bump them loud. They're all throwaway.
