TVXQ Working With Timbaland....Wait Who?

TVXQ. Boy Band. Korea. Timbaland?

Those aren't 4 words that you would necessarily see together but according to Korean media it's happening. Three members of the boy band TVXQ (formerly Tohoshinki in Japan) will be working with Korean composer Kim Hyung Suk and none other than Timbaland. Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun, and Youngwoong Jaejoong say they want to continue to target Asia where they have become widely popular. They have gone through some legal battles with their former agency they were signed to but it seems the courts ruled in their favor and they are free to pursue other options including flying to the U.S. this month to work on their album.

Let's see what happens!

  1. Korean star is popular now in Japan.
And they are popular very much, too.
However, the most of their fan are old women.lol

  3. It's really awesome news. I can't wait to see what Timbo comes up with ^^

J2, I have to disagree with you. I'm a big fan of TVXQ, and I'm 22. You might think I'm an exception then, but I know a lot of other fans and their age ranges from 12 year old's to, indeed, elder people. TVXQ have also been attracting the attention of many male fans recently.
Just to give you an idea, TVXQ owns the Guinness record for the biggest fan club in the world. Oh and also the record of most photographed celebrity lol

  4. Their fans arent older women only. This boy band group has a range of girls and women falling for them everywhere they go.
Glad they are working with Timbaland for their upcoming album.
Can't wait for what is in store of TVXQ fans.

  5. sounds like an amazing collaboration - aside from titling them as 'boy band', one should take into account that all three of these guys have amazing vocal talents and years of almost excessive experience on different area's of entertainment and music. They have been able to pull off many genres in the past - acapella, dance, r&b - if any group is worthy of working with such an amazing talent such as Timbaland, it's them. I'm sure the outcome will be fantastic - not just for the regular fans.

  6. If the term "boyband" comes together with "pretty face and nothing else" then no, they are not a boyband. TVXQ is famous for their amazing vocal skills, Junsu is called the "voice of Asia" and the other four are right behind him. They are able to pull off a concert of three and a half hours singing entirely live and dancing at the same time to fast-rhytm dance songs. Just search for their Secret Code tour in Tokyo Dome on Youtube. I'm curious of what will come out of this.
