Drake's "Thank Me Now" Produced by Timbaland and...

So with that "new sound" Timbaland has been talking about recently all over Drake's banger "Thank Me Now" who do you think worked with Timbo to create it for the track? Jim Beanz? J Roc? Maybe even Hannon? Well much to my surprise (and excitement) turns out Timbaland produced "Thank Me Now" with none other than......

Timbaland!

Yep that's right the track is solely produced by Timbaland with all instruments by Tim as well. When's the last time that happened? Snoop Dogg's "Get A Light"? Is solo Timbaland back? Let's hope so cuz if he release an entire album of beats like this I'd be more than happy.

Props to Big A!

  1. You'd be happy but I doubt it'd sell.

This track was perfect as an album closer and had great subtleties but I hope he refines it further. Just a *little* more umph and it'd be perfect.

  5. Go Timbo! You guys do not know what music is about and what it is, you do not understand you to music at all! Long Live TIMBO! Go listen to Black eyed peas or Justin Bieber instead if you prefer that bubble gum pop!

  6. Isn't "Get A Light" co-produced by Danja Boogie?

Just proves that you dont underestimate Timbo!

  7. Wack track. Period. Its so mundane. Screw the fact that Timbo did this track or not... its still mundane.

Tim is devolving himself with this "organic" movement. The Neptunes have been organic, and mixing it, and killing it all the while.

Change your style? Sure... Devolve your style? No.

Its getting bad... its getting bad to the point where regular listeners are saying "that beat is meh".

Awesome that 40 mixed it though. Go 40!
