Keri Hilson "Hold Your Breath"

Here's what I hope is a left over from Keri's last album or maybe even Shock Value II, the very boring "Hold Your Breath":

Boring beat, nothing exciting with the vocals, and are people still even using auto-tune? YAWN! Even without the DJ drops this song is definitely skippable.

  1. lol Boogie has never been more negative about a Timbo track. I must admit this auto-tune mess is not ideal. I can see why it is hated by so many even producers so why does a King like Timbo use it? It doesn't make sense!?

  2. I'm never been so negative about Timbo too, but... This track is HORRIBLE! This auto tune and these beat... Timbo make very low tracks by now o.O It's sad, but it's true. Getaway and now Hold Your Breath? What the Fuck?! Shock Value 2?! THIS ALBUM WAS FUCKING MISTAKE! I miss 'bout his tracks with Danja. If you can see... Timbo WAS THE BEST PRODUCER ONLY WHEN DANJA WAS NEAR HIM, When Danja left Timbo's team then Timbaland start's doin' mistakes like: "How Does It Feel" by Keri Hilson or "Getaway" by Michelle Branch by now... and I'm sorry for bad words...

  4. @Dexter wrong to say Timbo was the best producer only when Danja was around him. There was a number of cool Tim tracks during and after the time spent with Danja. People lose sight of that but recently yes he has gone soft. Maybe this commercial success has got to his head which explains some of the arrogant comments too and all this commercial seeking music/sound

  5. I agree with Bilza. Tim made good songs, especially before the "co-produced by Danja" era. Tim and Danja produced good tracks, but honestly, Timbo older beats (1996-2004) are better (according to me) than those which came since '04.

"Maybe this commercial success has got to his head which explains some of the arrogant comments too and all this commercial seeking music/sound" -> +1

  6. I can agree witha that: Timbo older beats (1996-2004) are better (according to me) than those which came since '04. But Since Shock Value 2 got for me 2/10 o.O and the best album produced by Time since SV 1 is Scream, this is veeeryyyy crazy album.

  7. Tim said Scream was his best work , I do agree with it since he's not a Rock/Grunge/whatever producer. I'm a bit disappointed that it flopped because Scream is definitely a must-have !

  8. The whole album is sick and I think that they SHOULD DO another album with this same direction, those would be crazy sounds! I'm tryin' to make music to ;)
