  10. Some of those nominations are questionnable. SERIOUSLY questionnable. Let's run through a couple shall we...

    [a]
How in the WORLD does "Say it right" not get a nomination for Record of the year? That joint is hotter than all of the shortlisted nominations combined. I'm sick of how "Loose" gets snubbed at some of these award shows.

    [b]
How did "LoveStoned" get nominated for best Dance recording and not "SexyBack"? "SexyBack" was a much stronger dance recording than "LoveStoned". "LoveStoned" was just okay. It was good on the first couple of listens, but then became annoying, overlong and shitty. "I think she knows" overshadowed it completely. It was the switch into that song that saved it.

As for Tim and 'Producer of the year' - near enough every Tim joint that plays on the radio was co-produced by Danja. Not that I'm trying to take away from his shine. Tim has been tearing it up and bringing the heat. He's been hot on the grind for so long and his moment is long overdue. But if Tim wins producer of the year, then so should Danja. It should've been a joint nomination, because the songs the Grammy's are basing their nomations on were co done with Danja. We all know Timbaland is gonna win this category, I just hope he gives Danja a shout out. He probably won't though and will give Justin shout outs instead.

  11. 2007 Grammy Winner for Best Dance Recording:

"Sexy Back" Justin Timberlake & Timbaland
Nate (Danja) Hills, Timbaland & Justin Timberlake, producers; Jimmy Douglass, mixer

  12. Say it right was nice, but lets be realistic lol. Irreplaceable was playin all over the place, as well as Umbrella. The Pretender? hmmmm i personally luv it but i dont know how it got in there nor am i gonna complain lol. I think everything is sort of fair here.

Sexyback prolly fell into another time period for qualification meaning last year. the two were released far apart so that cud be a valid point even tho i am not sure.

I agree fully with the Danja comment though. I actually do not know how timbaland is gettin so much more shine than his 50/50 partner lol That is like pharrell winning the producer of the year and not chad. The neptunes won lol not pharrell or chad. Danja is mad unappreciated.

  13. i'm not mad about the Danja comment but lets be realistic, Danja is not all that to me wen it comes to beats, wen he did the britney spears record it wasn't a 100% success, wen Danja produces solo he's not all that good, like Tim the nelly furtado record was a huge success,so really tim makes danja who he is, a lot of his records don't sell like tim does, so really Danja owes tim the appreciation to work with a musical genious like him

  14. agree ^^, if u listen 2 danjas beats there very similar and he hasnt bin in da game dat long tbh. timbo does make danja danja doesnt make timbo, cuz timbo was makin hits way b4 danja came along

  15. Tim should have won a grammy before danja it takes this long for people to recognize his genius.Yes he should shout out danja but at the end of the day timbo is the man just think tim wanted to put hannon on first but he was going through some things it could of easily been him with tim.

  16. I don't see what Danja's work on "Blackout" and his production style has to do with the situation regarding Danja not getting a co-nomination with Tim.

Danja's talent or lack of it aside - it still stands that all of the songs that made the Grammy's recognize Timbaland this year were co-produced by Danja. Fact. Each and every one. If anything it'd should've been Producer(s) of the year Timbaland & Danja as a joint nomination. All of the Timbaland productions that are in that nomanations list are also Danja productions.

I do think it's a bit early for Danja to get a Grammy and in all fairness a Grammy doesn't dictate an artists talent anyway. The Grammy's have shown Tim no love over the course of his career up until now, but he was by no means any less of a producer because of it. The same way how "Afrodisiac" was one of Brandy's hottest albums and featured some of Tim's best work, but it not getting love at the Grammy's didn't make any less of an album.

It's all about the principal. If Tim is going to get producer of the year this year, it should be co with Danja.

  17. Once again the only way i can see Danja grammy-worthy is if he's able to sell records lik tim, rather it's hip-hop,pop, reggae, watever, no co-producing, just him, because everything that Danja has done producing wise, is The Blackout album, Trey Songs- "wonder women" which wasn't a commercial success, and "We Takin Over" that was probaly his best hip-hop track to date, but credi is due, where credit shows, so maybe danja due need some recognition, but he hasn' proved to me that he can hang wit tim

  18. I'd hate to say this but you people keep making what Timbaland did for Justin and Nelly sound like he turned water into wine LOL. Those two artists are naturally gifted, and they already had audiences following them, as well as gud sales history.

Britney HAD a huge fanbase but her personal life messed up every chance of her making a comeback. To top it off, her album did not nearly get the promotion it couldve.

Stop crediting Timbaland with Justin and Nellys success please.

  19. I agree with you about Justin and Nelly being naturally gifted and the Tim turning water into wine for Justin and Nelly comment had me laughing! *LOL*

I think in all honesty Tim, Danja, Justin and Nelly all did one another a favour.

    - Danja working with Tim on such high profile albums made people ask "Who is this Danja dude?"
    - Nelly working with Tim helped give her sound an all new twist.
    - Tim working so exclusively with Justin helped get several singles in the #1 spot.

Everyone benefitted and brought something to one anothers tables in their own way. That's how I see it. I think everything stemmed from Nelly Furtado's "Loose". :P But I would say that because I'm as biased as f**k and think that album is the hottest thing. I love it as much now as I did the first day I heard it.

As for Britney - bitch is a lost cause. Danja wasted those beats on her, Keri done wasted her time penning decent songs for the bitch and Jim Beanz shouldn't have even wasted his breath on "Break the ice". Britney may as well have have taken Danja's beats and had her two kids shit on them. That's if she was able to get within 6 feet of her kids. Not that she seems to even want to.
