The Sample Wars: Czar Vs. J-Boogie

I thought I'd mix it up a little this week and have a little "war" with Czar. He is without question the Sample King and he has now got me addicted to collecting samples. I've spent a lot of time diggin' around and seeing what I could find and wanted to show off my skills. I wanted to school the master on what the pupil has learned. So bring it Czar! Let's see what you got!

Round 1: Justin Timberlake's "(Oh No) What You Got" A hot Timbo beat over some smooth JT vocals but do you know the sample? The sample is Debka Druz's "The Debka of the Druz" Many people seem to think the sample is Israeli, it's even been credited that way on many websites but in fact the track is Syrian.

Oh but that's not all, J Boogie don't just give you the sample like some cats...hahah

Sixx John, a talented MC and a producer for Ne-Yo, used to be signed with Big Tank. Now Big Tank as you all know used to produce for Timbaland productions (check Queen Latifah's "Go Head") so isn't it fitting that Tank used the Debka sample BEFORE Timbo did for Timberlake. The track in question? Sixx John's Debka Druz's "Break Tha Rulez"

You don't want none of this Czar....
