Timbaland re-signs Kiley Dean?

Could it be true? After all their history both good and bad, has Timbaland re-signed the underground favorite? Well it looks as though it's a reality as Kiley performed at a Grammy party hosted by Verizon and People magazine to honor Mr. Mosley. Hand picked performers by Tim were Flo Rida, Taylor Swift (first artist for the Verizon project?) Paramore (2nd artist?), and then Kiley Dean who did a cover of Oasis' "Wonderwall" followed by a closing performance by One Republic. pimped-out Flavor Flav watched from the side of the stage.

Accoring to the MTV article "Callie Dean" is newly signed to Interscope which could mean only one thing: whether she's on Interscope or Mosley Music Group it looks like we are going to hear more from the Kiley/Tim duo but this time it will be properly released.

Thanks to Czar for the link.

  6. if tim is behind her project 110%, she has the potential to be huge. she has crossover appeal to both the pop and urban audience, and her voice is out of this world. from what i remember, she's also very charismatic. i wish her and timbo the very best!

  16. This had better be for real. It doesn't leave me with much promise though, given that Timbaland seems to be giving Justin Timberlake's career more air time than his own stable of artists. If he gave Nelly Furtado and OneRepublic the kind of love he's been showing Justin they would've been even bigger.

I'd love to hear more Tim and Kiley though, because the tracks they did together were fire! "Just a little", "Keep it moving", "As days go by" and "Busy" will forever be my jams.

  17. Yes! Nice to hear Kiley Dean might be coming back. Screw that rock/pop angle she was gearing towards, come back to RnB and Timbo beats.

Still play a couple of her tunes like Busy and Keep It Movin' on occasion.
