Hannon Lane in the studio

The behind the scenes of production continues this time with Hannon Lane in the studio making a beat on a glass bottle! You got to see this:

Crazy beat! Don't sleep on Hannon the dude is a beast. Speaking of, get ready tomorrow for some of the biggest who-produced-it news ever on The Chronicles.

Props to Jordan on the find.

Update:: So who was this track meant for? None other than.....Missy Elliott for Block Party. You heard it here first!

  10. Oh yah, this beat sounds good so far. Hannon has skills. Especially on the piano. I can't wait for him to finally branch out from Timbaland and do his own thing like Danja.

Oh, and why didn't he just record the bottles in the booth? Would've gotten a better sound. Or, maybe he did, chopped it up, and was just playing the bottle again to remember what pattern he had in mind? Considering he he recorded single plucks with the bottle.

  12. why go in the booth when it just takes up time? if it was a cardioid mic then he was straight. or maybe he wanted that phasing effect from the loudspeakers. i dont think he wanted a clean sound but something imperfect... it sounded like fyre!!!

  14. Hannon is completely underrated. I've known him for years. He is amazing on the keyboards and has a natural, god given talent that most people don't have. He doesn't get the real credit that he deserves. He produced rehab but doesn't get any real recognition for it. Trust, I understand how the business works and I understand why. I just hope that, one day, people recognize him as an individual producer instead of part of someone else's production team.
