You can compare more than just the two Strongers. Listen to Kanye's drums throughout the album - definitely his most glaring weakness as a producer. Tim's enhanced drums take that song to a different level and actually make Ye's beats sound a bit amatuerish (although still better than most).

There truly is only one King when comes to driving the overall sound. The Neptunes use drums very well, on the level of Timbo, but don't have the creativity and variety in sound as Tim (also one of Kanye's strong points).

If team redid all the drums on Kanye's album we'd be talking about a classic.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00816446536280393634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357227101874268403.post-3932663599638405062007-08-31T09:00:00.000-07:002007-08-31T09:00:00.000-07:00if you can't tell the difference between Coke and ...if you can't tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi, you need to stop eating batteriesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357227101874268403.post-55838324952921249082007-08-31T08:46:00.001-07:002007-08-31T08:46:00.001-07:00coke!!!!coke!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357227101874268403.post-40266112223078051082007-08-31T08:46:00.000-07:002007-08-31T08:46:00.000-07:00theres no difference its the same...its like sayin...theres no difference its the same...its like sayin whats better pepsi or cole!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357227101874268403.post-17764098219335808242007-08-31T06:09:00.000-07:002007-08-31T06:09:00.000-07:00Anyway, this wasn't about creating new drums for t...Anyway, this wasn't about creating new drums for the song, it was about enhancing the originals...more bang. Songs are pre-mix & mastered all the time in advance to release as singles, but once the final product is ready to release, the song needs to match the EQ with the rest of the record. Simple as that.
