We haven't heard a Timbaland radio interview in a long time but this one just may be his best to date. Tim sounds rather humble throughout the interview. It seems like fatherhood has made him a changed man which he even admits. It takes a big man to reach out to a former rival, one Scott Storch, to quash the beef in a peaceful way (dude was almost crying?) Take a listen to the interview:
Timbaland on Atlanta's Hot 94
You heard it here on The Chronicles first back in November about the new Petey Pablo/Timbo collaboration and real soon we'll get to hear it first hand.
Now the real question is who is though who is this "BEEEEEP" that Tim is working with? Is it Stevie Brock? Is it someone else? Looks like we'll have to wait until the Grammys.
Michael Jackson?
ReplyDeletei loved the part about scott almost crying...it almost made me cry :),i'm just a sucker for tearjerkers! And man the BEEEEP guy really made me hyped, who can he be?and tim didn't even mention madonna, how much are we gonna have to wait for her album to come up!At least I definatelly like the new reformed tim than the old "he thinks his God like" timbo king!Goes to show that you should always be humble and stay true to yourself and know what you are really made off;Tim is gonna be a great father!Really happy for you man!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, was thinking about Michael Jackson too.
ReplyDeleteActually, Michael Jackson is realistic. The Grammys is paying a tribute to the king and Quincy Jones. Mike will probably attend the grammys so they will anounce it. He is already working with will.i.am and Kanye West, why not work with the best?
ReplyDeletei dont think its mike cause they would have tried to get more into that
ReplyDeleteHmm, guess your right. But with the Thriller 25 and all that shiet coming around the corner, its possible.
ReplyDeleteI think it's usher !!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the most anticipated male album of the year !
its "nina hagen" !
ReplyDeleteCmon guys, the BEEP is MADONNA!
ReplyDeleteIt's definetly not madonna. he says "the way HE sounds over my beats"...but I don't think it's stevie brock ether because I think he just wouldn't be that hyped about him ...
ReplyDeleteI'm mad boogie called scott a rival. More like the court jester of Timbos thrown
ReplyDeleteMichael Jackson or Usher,I definitly think it's one of the two!Usher's album should be released sometimes this year and Michael Jackson announced in his recent award speech at the NRJ show that musically there's much more to come from him.If it turns out to be Michael it would be one awesome surprise but I really doubt it cause we would have heard something related to that by now. Most probably is Usher, who would be great too.
ReplyDeleteBut the thing is, Usher aint like exclusive artist that you just can do a beep over. Its either Michael Jackson-status superstar (madonna, prince, michael jackson)
ReplyDeleteI heard it's jesus
ReplyDelete12 disciples on backing vocals
I definately hope it's NOT stevie brock......That cat needs to go flip some burgers or something....
ReplyDeleteLMAO @ Nina Hagen!
ReplyDeleteit's NOT Madonna, everybody knows they worked together already. plus Tim said "HE".
Stevie Brock? he's a nobody.
We already know he worked with Usher, so where's the exclusive?
It must be Michael Jakcson. Plus, the audio sounds edited, these guys always lick Tim's ass and they just said "oh" "yeah", I bet they were like "OMG!! tell us more, blah blah".
Finally some fans can stop with their "I must hate Scott because he and Tim have beef..."
ReplyDeleteIt's just as stupid as people can't like both 50 Cent and The Game because they have beef.
People don't realize it ain't our problems, we're fans.
Music should not seperate people, it should make us a force.
Well said Alex.
ReplyDeletehow old is this interview?
ReplyDeletei cant wait for pablos new single i think its s "stick up man"
"12 disciples on backing vocals"

That's the humble Tim I've been waiting to hear from! And I bet it is Michael Jackson. He would sound crazy over the right Tim beats.

Lmfaoo!!!!@that. whoever posted that is hilarious
Its gotta be user, since that single that just leaked
ReplyDeleteYeh he's attitude shows him to have a more admirable and prudent additude.
ReplyDeleteI'm feelin' like that mystery guy is either Michael Jackson, or Prince. Timbo's talked about wanting to work with Michael, and Mike is going to the Grammy's this year. At the end of the interview, you can hear his publicist say...don't release the name till after the 8th. Hint lol...
ReplyDeleteWhy Prince? That would be the only other major artist I could think of. Prince and Timbo? Damn...
Prince would never work with Timbaland.....WTF Prince need Tim for?? SMH....
ReplyDeletelol at anonymous cats speaking for people they don't know, acting like working with Timbo is beneath Prince or some other dumb shit. Prince has had The Neptunes remix his track "The Greatest Romance Ever Been Sold." Why the hell wouldn't he work with Timbaland.
ReplyDeleteIn fact I hope it will be Stevie Brock, he really sounds great!
ReplyDeleteLOL of course Prince needs Timbo. When was the last time that dude had a hit? like 20 years ago, seriously.
ReplyDeleteActually his album before last was a success. I agree with anonymous I don't think it's Prince. Prince is to the point now where he can make a killing performing live and releasing CD's for his fan base. He's not worried about the mainstream. Anything Timbo can do Prince can do it 10x's better.
ReplyDeleteThe petey pablo single just leaked and it's not produced by timbaland!
ReplyDeletegod just had a thought...
ReplyDeletei hope its not Robbie Williams :0
I hope his not that psyched about Stevie Brock.. But it doesn't sound like its MJ...if you listen to the reaction of the radio host it's not like a Michael Jackson excitement more like "yeah ok" but Personally I think Stevie Brock is a wanna be Justin Timberlake..come better..we need something new in the music game..bring it Tim..please
ReplyDeletewho is Robbie Williams??
ReplyDeleteI love how he sounds humble as well like his trying to come back to earth..I think people love and respect you more when you are humble..as oppose to cocky and arrogant..

ReplyDeletewho is Robbie Williams??
He's a cheesy British pop singer orignally form a group called "Take That".. sold over 53 million albums (although he's absolute garbage)
